Preparation is key to cleaning your house quickly.

1. Decide what cleaning tasks you are going accomplish for the day and stick to these jobs.
2. Get a box, pick out all items on the floor. You can place them back at the right place later.
3. Concentrate on what task at a time to be more effective and so that you won’t drain. Just have one thing in mind while doing your work. And that is to clean quickly and efficiently.
4. Get a caddy for all your cleaning tools and supplies for easy access from room to room.
5. If a background music helps, turn it on. If not, keep it off.
6. Try to keep your kids occupied with something like a movie or with an adult family member.
7. Keep your dogs, cats, and other pets away the area where you are cleaning.
8. Pretreat areas to cut down on scrubbing. For instance, toilet bowl cleaners and shower cleaners will do a better job if you wait a few moments to begin cleaning after applying the cleaner. Work on another area in the room while the cleaners to do their job.
9. Clean one room at a time and then move to the next room. Finish each room before jumping to the next.
